Charles Schultz Philosophy

My Friend Cheri sent me this in a forward this morning and I love it. I wanted to share it with all of you. Cheri did not know that one of mine and Riz's favorite cartoons in the Peanuts. We both think Charles Schultz was a great man with a brilliant mind. His cartoon is timeless and appealing to people of all ages. I know every year during the holiday season I can't wait to watch "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Is there anyone out there in their 30's or 40's who does not remember those classics from Childhood? It is already in Sophia's video library. I look forward to the day it become a tradition in our house to watch them together as a family. I think a lot can be learned about compassion and tolerance from Chuck and his friends.

Click on the link below and enjoy. :)

Susan,
I'm so glad you enjoyed this email. Kim sent it to me this morning and I just love the Peanuts...they always have a way of putting a smile on my face. (I saw your comment on Kim's blog and you're right...we are all three SO much alike!!) I have a few Peanuts DVDs for Hope already too. I especially can't wait to watch the Christmas one with her every year. :)

Susan,

I LOVE your blog! Thanks for leaving a comment on mine. I actually took the picture from your blog because I loved it. I was so moved by that site and had to post about it.

Susan,
Charlie Brown's Christmas has been one of our family's favs for years!
Linus reminds us so much of our youngest son, he dragged his blanky around everywhere he went. It is still on his bed to this day (he says it's for sentimental reasons, only!)Yeah right! HaHa!
Don't you just love the Peanuts one where Charlie Brown has a crush on the little curly red-haired girl? Priceless! I love the sunflowers on your blog, they're so cheerful. I actually have a bouquet of them on my kitchen island, right now.:)

Diane, How cute is your son with his blanket? ....

I bought "Wont you be my Valentine Charlie Brown" (the little red head girl story) for Riz (really for Sophia) last year. We ate dinner in Sophia's room and read it to each other that night.

Just to show you how much I LOVED the Peanuts cartoons, I painted Snoopy on my bedroom walls when I was a pre/teen. I love the Charlie Brown TV holiday shows. Thanks for reminding me!
I may have to find that picture of my bedroom wall (from the ealry 70's) and scan it!
