Sesame Street Brought to you by the letter H- H, is for HAPPY
This is my favorite and an all time Classic Children's Program. If you ask me it is really the pioneer to ALL children's programing. Sesame Street began airing the year I was born, 1969. It was born from the imagination of Joan Ganz Cooney and many other very creative people. I love the fact that since 1969 there has been a program that shows our countries diversity and the importance of acceptance. Sesame Street was the first multi cultural children's program on TV. It is the longest running Children's program in television history and has won numerous awards for it's excellent programing. It was always my favorite and I hope that it will be one of Sophia's too. Sesame Street has been vigilant at staying current. It has always had an emphisis on current events and now has even developed programs and multi media for the kids of this generation. I think Sesame Street will be around for a long time to come and that makes me H-A-P-P-Y!
My favorite Character was Grover. Who was yours?

My favorites were Grover, Cookie Monster and Bert and Ernie.
I also loved the little martians or aliens that had huge mouths and would move them all around and go "Neep, neep, neep, neep".
Good memories!!
My favourite...and still is...is definitely Cookie Monster!!! I just love saying Cookie Monster...Cookie Monster..Cookie Monster!
My favorite was Grover!! :)
Susan, I still wish we would have taken the "Bert & Ernie" photo in the mountains!! LOL
Cheri me too... We should have done that... For those of you who don't know Cheri and I spent a few days together in the mountains with our husbands. We had a great time and many laughs. One of which was about the twin beds Cheri and Shane slept in. Riz told them they were like Bert and Ernie. We even said we were going to take a picture of them with the covers pulled up to their chins like Bert and Ernie but for some reason we never got around to it. Cheri just the vision of it makes me laugh.
My favorites were Ernie&Burt!!!!!!Simply LOVED them!!!!!
...I once had someone close to me say that I reminded her of Oscar the Grouch... It must be the eyebrows...
I think my favorite was Mr. Snuffalafagus (I have no idea if I spelled that right!)
